Radio Raipur Celebrated Its First Anniversary at AAFT University

Raipur: “I cannot forget how I was rejected two times, during my college days, by the Premier Radio Station of India in New Delhi, after waiting for six months every time for the audition. Whereas I wanted to do something for the Radio. The second time rejection raised the level of my determination, somehow, I was sure to start a radio station in Marwah Studios,” narrated the story by Dr. Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios at the celebration of first anniversary of Radio Raipur at AAFT University.

After the successful launching & running Radio Noida for years, we decided last year to start Radio Raipur to develop and support students and people from Raipur in fulfilling their dreams to be heard by masses. Radio is the best and the favorite medium of media. A radio is a powerful communication tool which reaches a wide a range of people and at the same time does not cost much,” added Dr. Sandeep Marwah

We are feeling so motivated with the presence of Radio Raipur in the campus. Last year it was inaugurated on 13th February on The World Radio Day during 9th Global Festival of Journalism. In just one year Radio Raipur has created a wonderful place for itself. We all     have learned a lot about the medium and contributed to our best,” said Shikha Verma Director AAFT University.

Sushil Bharti Radio Head, all the faculty members at AAFT University and large number of students attended the program online. Radio Raipur available to the listeners at www.radioraipur.fm and www.radioraipur.com
